Aaand it's a wrap :)

Wow I can't believe it, my first year of college is now officially over!

The past year flew by so fast it's kind of blowing my mind. So many good and bad experiences happened this year that it feels like it's been a decade, but at the same time it feels like it was just yesterday that I was saying bye to everyone and moving into my apartment.

This year was definitely the biggest roller coaster ride of my life. I've loved every part of it, even the sucky times now that I look back at them. This year was full of new friendships, love, heartbreak, independence, responsibility, progression and growing, new experiences, many firsts and a lot of realizations and good times.

I experienced and survived roommate fights, creepy college guys, the college guys who want to get married after the first date, 18 page papers, many presentations, 35+ hour long paintings, building sculptures, what it takes to stay on the honor roll, breakups and new relationships, stressful cleaning checks, procrastination, and many all nighters and tiring finals weeks!

Overall, I learned that I can get through anything if I put the effort and determination into it, and that's the best thing I could have learned. I learned that I can be independent and make my goals a reality. I realized that all things happen for a reason and I should accept changes happily.

Best of all, I learned that life is beautiful, no matter the curve balls it's going to throw you. Roll with the punches and keep calm and carry on. :)

Her hair... I love it.

Love how creepy this turned out.

At first I hated that light leak, but I cropped it down and got this, I really like it now.

Forever Fades Away

I don't know if I've already told the story behind Marlee or not?
Well I'm going to tell it, so here goes!
During the past 2 semesters here at school I would always pass this gorgeous, model-esque girl.
Every. single. time. I would turn to whoever I was with and say "I need to take her pictures!"
Kind of creepy, I know.
Well, one day she was in the Printmaking studio and I said
"Okay Leesh here's your chance, just go freakin ask her!"
See usually I don't have a problem asking people,
but if they're really really really really good looking models I get intimidated.
But what the heck? I went and asked her...
and here are pictures from one of our shoots. :)
I love how she can rock so many different styles..
Here you have the street style then the whimsical, pretty style.
Yep, she definitely rocks. :)

I love taking pictures of these two girls, so far they're a couple of my favorite models.
So they came down for a weekend and we took pictures up Ephraim Canyon a ways.
Here are my favorites that we got. :)

^The way her eyes catch the light... Love it.
